Carbon Steel Balls

Profile
Carbon steel balls Supply High hardness and excellent wear resistance, are an economical alternative to through-hardened precision balls. Carburized outer case, soft core, provides good load capacity, resistance to shock loads and surface wear. Non-heat treated carbon steel soft balls are also available applicated where the ball would need to be welded, modified, or drilled.
Hardness
Soft Carbon steel ball hardness at HRC10-30 deponds on the materials.Carbon steel balls are case-hardened to Rockwell C 60 minimum to provide strength and long life.

Applications:
Carbon steel balls are used in ball bearings to facilitate both linear and radial motion in applications from small equipment to industrial machinery. They provide reliable performance for less expensive anti-friction bearings, steering columns, casters, conveyors and trolleys, roller skates, toys and drawer slides, bicycles, roller skates, slides, trolleys and conveyors,Hinges,BB shot Carbon steel balls are also specified for vibratory finishing, stopper balls and aerosol cans, where ingredient mixing is required
