POM Ball

Polyoxymethylene (POM)

Polyoxymethylene (POM), also known as polyacetal, is a thermoplastic used in engineering. It is hard but has a very low coefficient of friction, making it suitable for applications requiring high rigidity, low friction, and excellent dimensional stability. Its density ranges from 1.410 to 1.420 g/cm³.

Advantages: High wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, high heat resistance, good electrical and dielectric properties, and low water absorption. POM plastic balls can be used as a substitute for stainless steel balls, offering advantages such as rust prevention, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, quiet operation, and low cost. This product is widely used in bearings (such as deep groove ball bearings, self-aligning ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, needle roller bearings, tapered roller bearings, thrust ball bearings, spherical roller bearings, universal joint bearings, and one-way bearings), silent guide rails, slide rails, sprayer pump bodies, ball bearings, conveyor belts, and universal ball joints.

Ball diameter range: 2.00 mm ~ 100.00 mm; special specifications can be customized upon request.

Sphere grades: G0, G1, G2, G3

Material DELRIN Balls (ACETAL RESIN-POM)
Size Φ2.381mm—Φ38.1mm
Grade G0-G3 (±0.01-0.05mm)
Density Around: 1.4g/cm3
Feature Performance: it is similar to nylon, but slightly harder than nylon, slightly larger than the density recommended products applied to the required low water absorption
Applications POM ball table and drawer slide device is typically used, bearings, rollers, valves, and electronic apparatus, sailing apparatus.
