Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) Plastic Balls
Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), commonly known as the “King of Plastics,” is branded as Teflon (also called “Teflon,” “Teflon,” “Teflon,” etc.). PTFE possesses excellent self-lubricating properties, having the lowest coefficient of friction among plastics, making it an ideal oil-free lubricant. Its surface energy is very low, preventing any known solid materials from adhering to its surface, resulting in non-stick properties. It is temperature-insensitive, with a wide operating temperature range of -190~260℃, and is resistant to both high and low temperatures. It is corrosion-resistant, able to withstand the effects of all strong acids (including fluoroantimony and aqua regia), strong alkalis, strong oxidizing agents, reducing agents, and various organic solvents, except for molten alkali metals, fluorinated media, and molten strong alkalis. It is resistant to atmospheric aging, radiation, and has low permeability; its surface and properties remain unchanged even after long-term exposure to the atmosphere. It also possesses good insulation and non-flammability. Thanks to its excellent properties, PTFE plastic balls are widely used in chemical, heat treatment, electrical, and mechanical equipment industries.
